Well my rude tunic is back at it again. After 3 days in the corner you would think it would know how to behave. However hanging in the corner it seems to have stretched a bit too much. What is a girl to do with naughty knitting to except match up the other side by hanging in the corner as well. Then I added a few rows to even it out and decided to call it good and finish the naughty knitting.
It’s much longer than I had planned more like a mini-dress than a tunic. I was able to wear this twice already, with a tank top and leggings it makes for a cute outfit. However if it continues to grow I may have to gift it to someone. I’m hoping the linen will keep the cotton from stretching too much. I will have to see how it “behaves.”

I loved Fiber College it was AMAZING!!!!!!! Be sure to check out the gorgeous campground where it takes place. There are many activities(and great restaurants) in Searsport and neighboring Belfast. Even if your not the camping type (which I am not) The campground is a beautiful place to spend the day. I stayed at the Yardarm which is a beautiful motel.
Yardarm actually means the area around a shipyard or the time of day to get drunk …..I think when they named it they meant the former definition.

Progress is going well on the Evoking Autumn project it’s nice to have some easy knitting after the last crochet saga. Perfect for a CSI or NCIS marathon!!!! I forget to add the pattern I was using for this project is Alva by Karina Westermann
Aren’t these colors amazing?????
Ready for the close-up????
I guess I don’t have to say again that I love this yarn…. That is saying something as I usually shy away from anything labeled lace weight.

As promised I’ve finished writing up the Serenade Crochet Scarf Pattern and it is now available here. I will get it on Ravelry soon as well.
I’ve already jumped into the next project which is a simple triangle shawl in The Fiber of My Being’s Evoking Autumn mohair, silk blend in lace weight. It’s amazingly airy but still warms my hands just working with it.
I love the look of this yarn!!! The sheen on it is amazing and made it difficult to get the best pictures.
I just got started and love the way the colors are coming together.
